Back to the XS style gas cap gasket:
approx 2 1/16″ or 52mm across
inside mounting groove is 3/16″ or 5mm deep.
this is a tight fit! there is a good amount of stretching needed to install these gaskets!
Fits many models- including,
Yamaha XS1100 Standard
and
Special models,
XS650 specials, …any XS / RD with a gas cap that has 3 screws
holding the gasket to the cap (flip yours open to check)
like:  early 1970 -75 Yamaha enduro’s with the hinged, keyed cap
Fits: most 1976-84 XS650 gas caps.
does not fit 74-75 XS650 or TX650 with a TX style gasket
