Description

Antique etching folio print on vellum paper dating to circa 1890’s. Print was removed from an incomplete antique book. Condition is good and clean for the age with some slight ripples to paper. Tissue protector has a crease. Overall size is approximately 5.75 x 8.5 inches and image size is approximately 3.5 x 5.25 inches, blank on the back. Blank margins are as shown and are full with the original tissue protector still attached with title and artist’s and etcher’s name.
Print is titled on tissue protector “The Knight and Rowena.” Original etching drawn and etched by Ad. Lalauze.
