Description

Authentic antique folio chine colle steel engraving (printing process ) print on paper, dating to circa 1830’s as published by London Black and Armstrong.  Condition is overall for the age is good to fair. Condition of the image is very good and clean considering the age. Blank margins show some staining and moderate foxing. Print is full plate and is blank on back.  A nice plate impression is seen around the image.  Overall size is approximately 8.5 by 10.5 inches with image size being approximately 3 7/8 by 6 inches.
Title of print is “View Near Choquier, Pres de Choquier, In Der Nahe Von Choquier.”.  Artist is Salmon.  Engraver is Jno. Shury & Son, sc.
